Stone & Wood are donating Karma Kegs to Gold Coast's Surf Lifesaving Clubs

Next week, Stone & Wood are thanking Gold Coast’s Surf Life Saving Clubs for the awesome work they do to keep our beaches safe. They will be donating Karma Kegs to clubs along the coast to fundraise some much needed cash!

To say thank you for keeping Gold Coast communities safe, Stone & Wood will be holding a series of fundraising events to get some much-needed funds to local Surf Life Saving Clubs.

10 years ago, the three founders of Stone and Wood had a vision to create a village brewery. A community hub, where people come together to socialise, share ideas, feel inspired and drink good beer. That vision, and the desire to tread lightly on the earth built the framework for The Ingrained Foundation, a registered charity supporting grassroots environmental and social charities in their local areas.

As the months warm and beachgoers hit the sea, Stone and Wood through the Ingrained Foundation would like to recognise Surf Lifesaving Clubs and the amazing work they do to keep Gold Coast beaches safe. “Day in and day out, clubbies ensure families and friends keep their head above water. They teach nippers ocean safety and tirelessly put their own lives on the line so that locals and tourists make it home for dinner.” Says Stone and Wood’s Gold Coast team member Krista Hall.

From October 29th- November 4th Stone and Wood will be donating Karma Kegs to the Gold Coast Surf Life Saving Clubs. For every schooner sold, a donation will be made to that Surf Life Saving Club. The opportunity is for local communities to head to their local club, buy a beer and know they’re donating to a great cause. Drinkers will also be entered in a raffle to win a prize at each club at the end of that week. The Surf Clubs involved are: Rainbow Bay, North Kirra, Palm Beach, Club Talle, Burleigh, Miami, Nobby’s, Kurrawa, Northcliffe and Southport.

“We are really looking forward to rolling this out and hope everyone will spread the word. Get your mates together and share a few brews of Stone & Wood to support your local Surf Life Saving Club.” Says Krista
