Unique picnic experiences on the Gold Coast

Updated: Mar 5, 2019

Have you ever walked past a picnic in a park and thought, wow, that looks straight out of a fairytale. Chances are, it could have been a picnic created by Gold Coast Picnic Parties.

Combining their talents for management, creativity, brilliant customer service, hospitality and childcare Katrina West and Nikki King provide unique picnic experiences right across the Southern Gold Coast region from Broadbeach to Kingscliff, whether it be a birthday party for a teenager, or a Teddy Bears Picnic for a little one.

“We bring you a very special service with all the trimmings to create a memorable picnic for all. We design and set up your picnic with as little or as much fuss as you like. Rugs, cushions and low picnic tables are staged with fresh flowers and table runners with our unique, quirky flair.

“All bookings receive our creative Activities Guide with lots of ideas that you can engage in to make your picnic a memorable one. Our service also includes a complimentary Party Checklist to ensure you are picnic ready! When you're done we pack the picnic away.

“We can cater for a relaxed, intimate picnic for two, be it a wedding proposal or for those who want to comfortably lay back and focus on the gorgeous landscape the Gold Coast has to offer. We also cater for lifestyle groups including fitness groups, knitting groups and corporate collaborations."

Both being mothers, Kat and Nik like to think their family lives rub off on the hospitality they present.

They are happy to set up on the seaside, park-side, or in your backyard and their picnics range from two to three hours in any location.

The only thing to decide is where, when and what food you will bring – they do the rest.
